In the lake of Store Erte you could see kilometers of timber being floated down to the Haldenvassdraget and all the way to the sawmills. Alongside the water’s edge of Store Erte you will find Vinterveien, a forest cabin that previously housed the toughest workers and timber floaters. Now life along the lake has changed, and we invite you into snug surroundings with a spectacular view of the water.
Cleaning of the cabin is charged at 450 NOK (added upon payment).
All parties of more than four guests are charged an additional fee of NOK 250/day/guest.
